The Idea Dance

Street culture has been the pulse and inspiration for centuries. I know that I have been a big fan of people watching for years, mostly because I like watching the way people dress and move in the clothes they wear and how differently people react to strangers that have a little swagger to them.

The Idea Dance started off as a lark, a day in our warehouse where we just said, “Wouldn’t it be cool if…” What we got was bigger than we imagined. Once I sat down to start writing the passages for the video, I realized that this was part of an entire movement, a series of videos that told a story of extending boundaries & making your mark on the world. The series evolved into a showcase of Jazz Funk, Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary & Vogue…we could not believe the talent that was passing through our warehouse. It was a labor of love on all parts, from the amazing Eddie Bravo’schoreography, the amazing dancers, awesome photographers and slick stylists…I encourage you to join the evolution at The Idea Dance.
